The Current Executive Board of AIESEC in Tanzania.
AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national/social origin. Since we were founded, we have engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience.
Activating youth leadership since 1999 in Tanzania as a result of Prof. Lettice Rutashobya trip to Kenya where she met with young and energic youth from AIESEC in Kenya demostrating outstanding skills. She decided to open the same organization in Tanzania to impact youth in the country. Starting with University of Dar es Salaam as a mother branch.
Now AIESEC in Tanzania has expanded to six univerity. University of Dar es Salaam, Institute of Finance Management, Mzumbe University, The University of Dodoma, Moshi Co-operative University, and St. Augustine university of Tanzania, that makes a coverage of five regions that is Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Dodoma, Kilimanjaro and Mwanza.
We are running three(3) Global Products, Global Volunteer, Global Talent, Global Talent, and Membership. AIESEC in Tanzania runs different social programs such as Local Talent, Skill-Up Conference, Achievers Conference, Career Fair,Youth Speak Forum , and Annual Stakeholders Dinner.
We are proud to announce that AIESEC in Tanzania is a most organization with highest social impact of over 6000+ youth each and every year.
